Raju Maharjan, Nepal Country Office Transportation and Logistics. Although Raju started with AHF in 2000, he worked with Bruce in 1993 when they were both at a five-star Kathmandu hotel. Raju is an expert driver, and adept at negotiating Nepal’s difficult, sometimes treacherous rural roads. He ensures that the field staff is always safe in his hands. Raju is also a leader in his Newari community group, or Ghuti, and so very proud that his daughter is breaking new ground for young women in Nepal—she is one of only two studying Information technology at her university campus.
